A resident of Dzerzhinsk was left without a large sum after a conversation with a foreigner and a fortune teller. Both of them stopped responding to her and did not return the money. This is reported by the telegram channel Nimash.

The woman from Nizhny Novgorod worked in an orphanage for several decades, and when she retired, she faced loneliness after the death of her husband. However, after some time the woman met a Briton who worked on a ship and planned to move to Russia. A relationship began between them, and everything was going well until the man asked her for money.

The pensioner sent the money reserved for the sale of the dacha to the foreigner, took several microloans and another million rubles for the security of the apartment. The lover of Nizhny Novgorod promised to return everything, but in the end he was left with a debt of five million. And the foreigner himself stopped communicating.

Then the woman decided to seek help from a fortune teller, who asked for 700,000 rubles for her services. However, the fortune teller did not help to repay the debt, and later she herself disappeared.

Now the pensioner's family is trying to regulate the situation. They found documents about money transfers to England and Scotland, but unfortunately this has not helped the case yet.
