Five residents of Mari El "threw" the Chinese for several million rubles

Five residents of Mari El exchanged "divorce" with Chinese residents' money. Interfax communicates this with reference to the Ministry of the Interior.

The suspects were found in Cheboksary. Responders arriving at one of the apartments found a call center with office equipment and phones.

In total, there have been three victims in the case so far - residents of Wuhan, Gangzhou and Xining aged 42 to 56. They all wanted to meet Russian women and build a relationship with them.

As it turned out, the smart guys rented an apartment and lured money from the Chinese. They found victims on dating sites and pretended to be girls. After a short conversation, they asked for money to come to the groom, and then just stopped communicating. The damage amounted to about three million rubles.

A criminal case under the article "fraud" is currently under investigation, three residents of Mari El have been arrested, two are under house arrest.
