"Order with imagination": Yoshkarolinet attracted more than 28,000 euros from the German
Cleverly deceived by forging documents
A scammer was caught in Yoshkar-Ola, who stole about 2 million rubles during communication with a German. Reports " Mariyskaya Pravda ", citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the RME.
A resident of Germany came across our scammer on a dating site. They began corresponding via email and WhatsApp messenger. After testing the soil, the yoshkarolyn turned to a virtual friend with material requests.
First the scammer begged for money for groceries, then for utilities (he forged receipts by adding a few zeros). Then, under the pretext of selling the house from which debts are supposed to be paid off, the contract was also forged, by the way, and the fraudster begged several thousand euros more.
Having twisted the story of selling the house, he several times pressured the foreigner's sympathy, found several pretexts on which to lure some more money. At some point flew from Germany: "No!". But the Yoshkaroline resident replied that otherwise it would not be possible to sell the house and therefore repay the entire debt. Here it dawned on a friend, and he turned to the police.
The 37-year-old scammer was caught, and bank cards, computer equipment and a cell phone were confiscated. The scammer promised to compensate the victim for the damage incurred in the amount of about 28,000 euros or 2 million rubles.
