U.S. Secret Service Pulls Agents Out of Nigeria

I know it was in December this originally aired on ABC but just googled "scams in Nigeria " and this came up first

It made my heart sink --THe US has closed there Secret Service office in Nigeria --
I am so upset by this -the US does not obviously care that people in the USA are being scammed -they must think we deserve it -I bet if anyone of them were scammed it would be a TOTALLY different story wouldn't it??

Just had to share this because it made me mad !!
I guess the fight is up to all of us here huh ????? FOR EVERY COUNTRY THAT HAS SCAM VICTIMS !!!!

This is very upsetting. I don't believe they shut it down due to "living conditions". I am sure there is more to it, they just don't care. They probably also think we are all stupid and it's our own fault (read some comments of "innocent Nigerians").

I totally agree with you -why are we the stupid ones all of a sudden ??
I do not understand what happened to being a victim --
When I was scammed it took all my courage to go to my local police dept to file the report and I got the run around from 4 different officers and you know what 3 or the 4 said to me ??---
Well why were you so stupid to fall for this kind of a scam ??
I was shocked and sickened when they said that to me -I have a new attitude for the police dept ,the FBI , and now the secret service --
they could not stand the living conditions is what i read -UNBELIEVABLE !!!!
Did not know your job had to be in a cushy 5 star hotel !!!!
The more i am getting into this the more angry i become
I am so appreciative of this site and all it is offering to victims of this horrible crime --and that is exactly what it is -- A CRIME !!
It took me almost 2 months to finally realize i was a victim of a criminal act and i should have been treated as one !!
Ok OFF MY SOAPBOX NOW !!!!!
