Mt Fuji & Chureito Pagode, is arguably the most famous viewpoint in Japan. The five-tiered Fuji Pagoda stands atop a mountain in the Kawaguchiko region and offers breathtaking views of Mount Fuji. The striking building belongs to the Arakura Sengen Shrine, which is located below the pagoda. At the beginning of the long climb is a huge red gate. After that, 396 steps await visitors.
