I surprised my parents by arriving at their house unexpectedly. I walked there from the bus stop with just a backpack and got there pretty quickly. Only my mom was home, and she was really happy to see me! My dad had gone fishing with our neighbor for a few days.
At first, my mom and I just chatted. We both knew it was better to talk in person about you, but she waited for me to bring it up.
