Under the Name of Jones Williams, he initiated a contact via Plenty of Fish POF, a dating site. He asked to communicate via text and then told me he closed his POF account as he stopped looking. He told me his wife died in a car accident and a nanny is caring for his 13 year old daughter Tracy in Atlanta. He was in Kabul, Afghanistan and retiring 2nd week of July. He sent me 6 pictures, all the same as posted. He then told me that he bought 12 bars of gold and jewelry because he didn’t trust the bank there so invested and asked for my address for mailing and will pick it up before we both go to Atlanta. I became suspicious and started researching and came across military romance scams and this site. Through this discovery, I immediately blocked the person with no explanation. I’m scared as I sent pictures of my family. In accepting the truth, I admit there’s some bond I felt and it’s releasing the facade that’s difficult.

The story is the same he is over in afiganastin serving the country as a peace keeper he Never wants to video chat and says he dont have a facebook account because it is to dangeruos for national secuity. I caught this guy trying to scam a very good friend of mine. Everything was red flags that she would tell me. He started talking to her on instagram and quickly went to hangouts app. She sent him some iTunes gift cards so I knew it was a scam! I said go on video with him but he always has a excuses not to.
I told her to send me his pictures and they were all clearly photoshopped so I did some reverse image searches and found he was just putting a face over other images. Ill post these pictures now to keep you guys and gals safe and away from this loser!
