I too have had contact with this man claiming to be military and saying his name is Kevin Connor, but, I am not sure what happened during that contact, and I will see if I still have notes to contribute to this post. But, I am sure I found out he was a Scammer, but, I am not real sure he presented himself to me as being Military.
Just take note, to be careful and block him right away, and drop all correspondence.

The first flag is that he’s 55 and only an E6

Mine is Sammie O'Connor. His info that he said was I am an E-6 Staff Sergeant (SSG). I also act as a platoon sergeant in the absence of the Sergeant First Class. I am the leader of my squad. I am a noncommission officer and I work in the junior management of the military. No at the moment I have been stationed over here in Afghanistan and I have been here for 3 month now , I will be back home by the end of this month . Well I have been serving the country for 25 years now and I have plan to retire as soon as am back home . He lives in Wooster, Ohio (I am from Ohio)We have been talking for a while. Why do people do this... CRAZY! I just created a new Google account so that we could talk in Hangouts because he could be "punished" for using a dating site there. Luckily I created a new account that I can easily block him and it is not hooked up to anything else. These are two of the images he sent. I see the one on here and the other is DEFINITELY the same person!!!

For those that aren’t familiar with the military, the first big red flag is that he is in the Army at a rank of E6 after 25 years. That simply just doesn't happen. First, MOST enlisted ranks are out at 20. And 20 years and an E6 is almost not possible. Officers sometimes stay in past 20, but are usually at the rank of Major on up. Even if he had been demoted, the lowest an Army officer can go is 2LT, definitely NOT to enlisted ranking. And think about it, if he was that much trouble to be demoted like that, he definitely wouldn’t have been in 26 years.. most likely they would t have let him the-enlist past his current obligation.

Just saying, but that needs to be the part you question first.

Several red flags here, including the way he worded things.

wife died in a car crash on her way home, before he got there and took her to the hospital, she gave up
said she was 45 years before she passed on
Said they were married 30 years (which by my math would have made her 15 when they got married.

Attention Everyone, This guy is a master mind of what he is doing. He has done this for years. I know, I myself have had a couple of contacts with him too. I can not remember all he has told me, but, I do know, he always claims to be MILITARY, he was married but has lost his wife, and he has a child but, I have been told one time a son, another time a daughter. He gives different addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers all the time. So, sooner or later, he will be brought down, and justice served. I hope none of you give him anything? Yes, I was tempted because he is always so convincing, but, I never did. My final words are, just be careful, do not give in anything he says, just shut him down. Good Luck Everyone!

With a person going by Master Sargent Daniel O'Connor or Connor. He's in Tamalie Ghana. He is very good . He's sent me 67 pictures the ones posted as John O'CONNOR. He still says that he is Daniel. I believed all he told me to an extent. Started questioning he had answers.He's wanting to come back to states needs to buy (airplane ticket) once he has ticket he can come home to me. I 've sent at last count $9,389.00. Some by money gram and western union. Always had to send to his messinger (Daniel Bakari Navas). Telephone # he used 233-545-806584. The email in December 2017 he gave me(daniel.connor 177@gmail.com). He always uses the whatsapp says it's secure. We first met on facebook things just escalated from there.
Do to my kind heart im loosing my home.we talked about this. Said he wanted to prove he was trustworthy maby even go to church with me. Last I heard he said government wanted to send him to war zone. Needed more money 100 to 400. Told him no . Said he could wait till I get my check. Haven't heard anything else from him.

This person just added me on Facebook, but it's obviously a scam. The name is "John Connor" and the link to their profile is https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100015841534227. The profile is pretty empty and recent, the details page lists Supatsara Janchum as their other name, and ALL of their Facebook friends are women. I found this thread by Googling "John Connor Kabul" and it was the third result.
