Well, seems to me it has it's fair share of scammers, mostly in the mid 20's to mid 30's range. In the past when I would report them, the profile would disappear so I thought the site was looking into those reported profiles. It turns out that reporting a profile blocks that persons profile such that they don't appear on searches. When I unblocked the profiles I was saddened to see many of them still were active and not deleted. My impression of the site is that they don't seem to care about scammers all that much or maybe they need more than one report before they check into it?
Anyway, there are real people there, but there are lots of scammers and the site is quite lacadaisical about them, imo. I'd grade them a C- overall.

one thing I should mention... One can change one's screen name on this site. Not sure how other sites are, but some I know won't allow name changes. This fact allows scammers to "steal" profiles then change the name and info etc and the person who started the profile may or may not know about this. I've seen numerous profiles where the scammer has changed the S/N and other info and can only assume that they have hijacked that profile in question.

I joined LoveandSeek because I was getting so many emails from interested men, but they don't let you read the emails unless you join. Fortunately, I have only signed up for 1 month. Every one of the "decent" looking men were scammers. You can tell because they have no concept of regular conversational English, they want you to immediately contact them on their Yahoo email account, they say they will relocate for the "love of their life", and they tell you a lot of mushy romatic crap on the first contact. Usually they are a widower. Please, do yourself a favor and forget this web site!

I invested for what I thought was one month and it ended up to be for 6 months. I was upset over that part. Then they guys I met were all scammers. I have tried reaching out to those who live near me or live where I have been enough to know things about that town. Maybe this is why no reply back.
